Employee wellbeing programs and workshops for when:
The aim: to strengthen your team's ability to cope with the impact that a high-pressure working environment can have on both individual and group wellbeing.
Our workplace wellbeing initiatives
Our staff wellbeing programs and workshops address stress, critical incidents, and relationship dynamics. They are tailored to the specific needs of your team.
Team Building Workshops
Our one- and two-day customised workshops help teams understand their relationships and develop healthier dynamics.
We take a structured yet flexible approach that creates a safe space for meaningful conversations to explore stress, communication, and teamwork.
Whether your team is recovering from a difficult experience or looking to build stronger connections, our workshops provide them with practical tools for sustainable workplace wellbeing.
Reflective Practice
Our reflective practice sessions help teams notice, name, and navigate difficulties at work, including tensions and conflicts, while strengthening relationships through deeper relational awareness.
We use polyvagal theory to help people understand different stress responses and relational mapping to help teams explore their dynamics, recognise patterns, and develop more effective ways of working together.
Sessions are tailored to what your team needs, whether it’s a one-off reflective practice or an ongoing program.
Team Trauma Recovery
These sessions use Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) to support teams in processing and recovering from workplace trauma or challenging situations together.
By using this structured, evidence-based approach, we provide teams with the tools to process shared difficult experiences and develop a deeper understanding of how stress affects individuals and group dynamics.
Whether as a one-off session or part of an ongoing wellness strategy, collective EMDR helps teams create a culture where wellbeing is a priority and everyone knows how to support one another.
A novel approach to employee wellbeing initiatives
We’ve crafted an original approach to team wellbeing — where teams can not only process past challenges but also strengthen their collective ability to understand and manage team dynamics.
Our approach integrates three evidence-based therapies to support teams in high-pressure environments.
Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR)
EMDR may help reduce distress and support people in processing difficult experiences. It can also serve as a preventative tool — we can't stop trauma from happening but we can help prevent the traumatic impact of unprocessed memories.
Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT)
CAT provides a model for understanding how relationships work, helping teams adjust their patterns and create healthier, better ways of working together.
Relational Mapping
Relational Mapping is a method of visually mapping a conversation, encouraging teams to pause, take a step back, and understand the impact of their experiences.
Having a tangible conversational ‘map’ gives teams clear insights into challenging topics and relational dynamics, making it easier to improve collaboration and overall wellbeing in a way that feels natural and meaningful.
Through these approaches, we cultivate relational intelligence — defined as a combination of social and emotional awareness with an understanding of how we interact within ourselves, with each other, and within broader systems.
Why relational intelligence matters
Teams don’t thrive because of systems and processes alone — it’s the relationships that make the difference. Humans are innately social beings with a need for healthy relationships coded into our survival instincts. Relational healing supports our ability to heal and recover from stressful and traumatic events.
When team dynamics break down, everything else follows:
-
Burnout spreads and valuable team members leave
-
Dysfunctional team dynamics lead to workplace conflict
-
Misconduct or boundary violations arise
-
Communication breaks down, making collaboration painful
-
Morale drops, taking engagement and creativity with it
When your team understands relationship patterns, they have a powerful natural resource in their toolkit to help heal, repair, and sustain themselves and each other in their hardest moments.
That’s why our work isn’t about quick fixes or generic team-building exercises but involves holding space for meaningful conversations and a deeper understanding of relationships.
Meet the team
Hi! We’re Johnny and Siobain, relational thinkers who help individuals and teams within systems that are experiencing challenges for one reason or another.
We combine our deep expertise in EMDR, CAT, and relational mapping with personal experience in high-stress environments to help teams see things from new angles, connect the dots, and develop a shared language for collaboration.
No pressure or rigid frameworks — just honest conversations that help your team process difficult situations and understand each other better.

FAQs
What's the return on investment?
Poor mental health in the workplace can lead to absenteeism, poor productivity, communication breakdowns, and high turnover rates.
A NSW Government report found that employees with poor mental health cost businesses over $3,500 per employee as a result of absenteeism and reduced productivity.
Our interventions aren’t designed to just feel good in the moment. We work towards long-term shifts in team relationships, communication, and engagement to improve team dynamics and workplace culture for years to come.
What are the benefits of relational mapping?
We use relational mapping as a powerful tool for reflective practice, enabling teams to improve communication and relationships.
This process visualises relational dynamics, creating clarity around the different positions people occupy in their interactions. The tangible ‘map’ helps teams identify patterns, find new ways to relate, and build their resilience in the face of challenges like compassion fatigue and burnout.
By exploring key moments and relationships through mapping, teams can gain new insights into how they function and how to navigate complex relational dynamics sustainably.
What are some of the tangible outcomes of relational intelligence?
We aim to increase relational awareness in your team so that they can:
-
Notice, name, and navigate difficulties at work, including tensions and conflicts.
-
Strengthen relationships through connection, collaborative working, and group support.
-
Recover from workplace events like organisational change or collective challenges (such as COVID-19).
By cultivating relational intelligence, teams can better adapt to challenges, improve team wellbeing, and build a sustainable, supportive work culture. Want to know how we do it? Get in touch.
Can you fix workplace drama?
We don’t fix, but we help make sense of what’s happening and guide teams towards steadier ground.
Can you help a group who are feeling traumatised by one difficult individual, especially when HR says there’s nothing that can be done?
We understand how complex that can feel. We work with the group to process what’s happening, build collective understanding, and find ways forward, even within the limits of tricky systems.
We’re not sure if someone is being a bully or not. Can you figure that out for us?
We don’t label individuals, but we help name relational patterns, make space for honest conversations, and guide the group toward clearer boundaries and shared accountability.
We need to work with a difficult manager or team members who are resistant to change. Can you help?
Yes! We help unpack where that resistance is coming from and support teams in finding more openness, trust and flexibility in how they work together.
Our sessions are a safe, supportive, and structured space for teams to voice concerns and address challenges, while our approach is down-to-earth, practical, and non-judgmental. We meet teams where they are and let them lead the conversation.
We’ve had a workplace incident that’s really reduced capacity. Can you help us get through that?
Absolutely. We can support the group in processing what’s happened, reconnecting with one another, and rebuilding a sense of safety and confidence in the work.
There’s conflict in our group. How do we change this?
Conflicting needs are part of any system. We help teams step back, see the dynamics at play, and find ways to move forward with more understanding, respect and cohesion.
